What is iWily?
In the vast reaches of interstellar cyberspace there are few if any places to go to do a little fast browsing about the relative value of collectibles and/or other items that one might want to sell or appraise. There are search engines here, and bulletin boards, and a gargantuan database. If you have an item that you would like to know more about, post it on the bulletin board and we'll research it as quickly as we can.

What kind of items are listed in the iWily database?
All kinds, except for automobiles, precious artworks and adult oriented items and materials.

How big is the database?
As of now there are millions of items listed and the list is growing. Our goal is to update about 10,000 listings a week. We add items by the hundreds as they come to our attention. Boa Constrictors, baseball cards, signed hockey pucks, carnival glass, old magazines and farm implements are just some of the wide diversity of items that we will carry. And if you happen upon an item that we don’t already have in the database, just email us or post it on the BBS and we’ll find a value for it. And that value will stay in our list. All values in our list are updated at least monthly with the most recent values.

What does iWily mean?
Well “i” can either sub for “me” or “internet”, and “Wily” well that can sub for “smart”, “cunning” or “informed”. And it happened to be available when we went looking for a name for our domain.

Scheduled down time....
Our database is updated weekly. Therefore during Monday evening between 7:00pm and 11:00pm you may experience a 20 minute degradation in service and a 2 minute break in services.

Can you live without iWily?

What does Bid mean in the listing?
There are basically two types of valuations in the list. First is the value that comes directly from someone’s offer to purchase, and the second is the value that comes from someone’s offer to sell. If a Bid shows nothing or , this means that we have found no offers from anyone to buy the item at any price, and that the person wishing to sell is wishing to get the value we have assigned to it. As we find offers or buys on any of our items we will change the status to which reflects a buyer's interest in the item..

Auctions: How do I search?
The search engine will look for individual words in the description. Such as: Mickey Mantle jersey will return any listings with those three words in them. This will let you quickly hone your search to the item you are interested in finding.
